Things have settled down here..the house is getting into order. It's nice to have the rooms done...We're all getting excited about the new little one.
Then...we had some bad news...My hubby called from work to say that he was just laid off!
We did not see this coming. My husband was worried when JP Morgan bought out Behr-Stearns but after talking to his boss, his worries were quieted. Only to find out , they were wrong. They didn't want to let him go.
It's amazing how the Lord gives you peace in times of trials...HIS Peace.
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:39
Even in times of stress and trials the Lord can calm the sea, that is our hearts and minds. To give us HIS Perfect Peace.
I told my husband, I feel selfish because I'm looking forward to having him home...he is too. So, we are praying for God's perfect plan. Right now we are also looking forward to the summer. A summer with him home more. Perhaps this is God's Blessing for us? Maybe what we see as a trial the Lord will use to Bless us? Either way...we are both at peace...that alone is a true Blessing that can only come from our Lord and Savior!!

I agree, I think it's a blessing that he will be able to stay home with you this summer especially since the baby is due in August. I also agree that God will show you his reasoning and it will be a true blessing as usual. I will pray for you and you have to keep me updated!
